The U.S. National Science Foundation AI Institute for Advances in Optimization (AI4OPT) joined peers from across the NSF AI research institutes at the 2025 Summit for AI Institutes Leadership (SAIL), held October 21–23. The event brought together institute leaders, researchers, and students to strengthen partnerships and explore how artificial intelligence can accelerate progress across disciplines.

Her presentation highlighted strategies for translating complex AI research into accessible and impactful messages for diverse audiences, emphasizing how clear communication supports collaboration, recruitment, and industry engagement.

Two AI4OPT graduate researchers, Asal Roudbari and Arnaud Deza, shared their work during the Graduate Student and Postdoc Poster Showcase, presenting innovative approaches to optimization and applied AI research.

Advancing Collaboration Across the AI Institutes Network
NSF AI Institutes Virtual Organization (AIVO),SAIL 2025 fostered dialogue among leaders from academia, government, and industry. Through sessions on interdisciplinary research, education, and ethical AI, participants explored ways to deepen partnerships and expand the impact of AI research nationwide.
