The 2025 INFORMS Annual Meeting will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center and the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park in Atlanta, Georgia from October 26-29, providing a unique opportunity to connect with the INFORMS community and engage with experts in the field.

The INFORMS tagline, “Smarter Decisions for a Better World,” encapsulates the core ethos of the organization and the mission it strives to achieve. On a grand scale, this tagline speaks to the overarching goal of leveraging operations research, analytics, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and more to address complex societal challenges. It signifies a commitment to harnessing the power of data-driven insights and strategic decision-making to create positive, meaningful impacts that reverberate across global systems, economies, and communities.

The meeting will bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders to explore innovative methods for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.

Pascal Van Hentenryck is scheduled to deliver talks during Plenaries and Keynotes sessions. He holds the A. Russell Chandler III Chair and is a Professor in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also serves as the director of the NSF AI Institute for Advances in Optimization (AI4OPT) and Tech AI. His research focuses on machine learning, optimization, and privacy with applications in energy, manufacturing, mobility, and supply chains. Van Hentenryck is an INFORMS Fellow and a Fellow of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI).
