Welcome to the 2025 Seth Bonder Camp (SBC)! Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of Computational and Data Science for Engineering? Join us at the SBC where innovative STEM opportunities await!

Camp LevelS 1 + 2

Georgia Tech (In-person)

  • Date/Time: June 9 - 13, 2025, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm ET
  • Grade: 9th - 12th
  • Registration: Link
  • Additional Registration: Through partnering high schools (teachers can contact Michael Butros)
  • Price: $500.00

The Seth Bonder Summer Program in Computational and Data Science for Engineering is designed for high school students who are curious about computer science and engineering but have little or no experience in programming or data science. All that’s required is a willingness to learn and the ability to use a web browser.

Through hands-on projects and real-world applications—ranging from machine learning and optimization to computational social science and genomics—students explore how data and algorithms can solve complex problems.

Beginners are introduced to core computational ideas through visual programming with Snap! and guide “Karel the Robot” through grid-based challenges. Those with more experience, or who have previously completed Level 1, can dive straight into Level 2, where they’ll learn Python and begin applying their skills to more advanced problems.

CAMP LEVEL 3

* Prior experience required; read info below.

Georgia Tech (In-person)

  • Date/Time: July 14 - 18, 2025; 9:00 am - 5:00 pm ET
  • Grade: 9th - 12th
  • Registration: Link
  • Additional Registration: Through partnering high schools (teachers can contact Michael Butros)
  • Price: $500.00

SBC Level 3 is open to high school students with an interest in computer science and engineering. Tools needed? A web browser and a genuine curiosity to learn. Students explore how data powers the world through exciting, hands-on applications in machine learning, optimization, computational social science, and genomics.

Level 3 is one of the program’s more advanced offerings and dives into deep learning using Keras, a powerful Python library. While students don’t need to have completed Level 2 to join, prior experience with Python is REQUIRED. This level is ideal for students ready to take their coding and data science skills to the next stage with real-world AI applications.

CAMP LEVEL 4

* Prior experience required, read info below.

Georgia Tech (In-person)

  • Date/Time: July 21 - 25, 2025; 9:00 am - 5:00 pm ET
  • Grade: 9th - 12th
  • Registration: Link
  • Additional Registration: Through partnering high schools (teachers can contact Michael Butros)
  • Price: $500.00

The Seth Bonder Program in Computational and Data Science for Engineering is built for high school students curious about computer science and engineering. All you need is a web browser and a strong desire to explore the power of data through real-world applications in machine learning, optimization, computational social science, and genomics.

SBC Level 4 is the program’s most advanced track, focused on the foundations and cutting-edge applications of Generative AI and Agentic AI. This level is designed for students ready to push boundaries. Prior experience is required—participants must have either completed the Level 3 deep learning camp or have a working knowledge of deep learning, plus solid experience with Python, Conda, and Jupyter Notebooks.
